I am having a weekly class for kids from 10 years up!

If you are interested and want to know more, please get in touch. I want to accommodate for talented kids that love to draw and paint and grow in that skill. I will try to find a time that can fit for most that are interested, so please, get in touch with me through the form on the right!

This class will be different than what Kulturskolen has to offer, as we will mainly focus on painting and drawing skills in a classical approach. It’s not to be seen as a replacement but an alternative with a specific focus!

Teaching method

I teach painting and drawing in my studio with classical approach, or what is called Atelier training.

The teaching part of my artistry is called “Kun’skap Atelier” - knowledge atelier with a word play that can read “simply create”. Because there is a big part of art that can be taught and all it requires is training. Like any other skill. But at the same time it is wonderful and fun. I am passionate about sharing what I have learned in a simple and practical way. The theory is learned on the journey. Every student gets to work on a drawing or painting mostly by painting from life - which means from a life object or model in the room. During the process I am there to help and give direction. We don’t usually work from photographs as it’s important in the learning process to understand to see and to translate it yourself from 3D to 2D. You will learn to see and learn to understand form, tone and colour. It’s about learning by doing and getting immersed in your subject and in that finding the beauty in what you look at.

I have different classes throughout the year to sign up for.

You can also inquire for private lessons if interested. Those will be in typical Atelier style, meaning, I will be working on my own paintings or artworks, while you have an assignment which I will tutor you through on the way.

I also give workshops and classes in different places sporadically and can be available for teaching invitations.
