Giclée print "Storeggen i Brosundet"

kr 1 400,00

Image size: 25cm high and 20 cm wide with a white margin of 2,5 cm around, resulting in a total paper size of 30 cm x 25 cm, which can fit a standard frame.

This is a limited edition print of 20 only of my original oil painting “Storeggen i Brosundet”. This scene is capturing the heart of Ålesund on a fall morning after extensive showers with the sun catching the clouds. The iconic colourful ‘sjøbuer’ or sea buildings are right in the center by the water street that separates the two island parts of the city center of Ålesund. My city is also called the Venice of the north, even though this is our only “Channel”. During the fall storms the bigger sail boats can be moved into Brosundet, which is the name for this stretch of water.

Experience the beauty of my original oil painting in this exquisite giclée print. Produced on Hahnemühle William Turner paper, renowned for its exceptional texture and archival qualities, this print offers a faithful reproduction of the original artwork. Each print is meticulously crafted to preserve the intricate details and vibrant colors of the painting.

Giclée is a French term meaning "to spray," and it refers to a high-quality fine art printing process that uses a specialized inkjet printer. This method allows for the reproduction of original artwork, such as paintings or drawings, with exceptional detail and color accuracy. Giclée prints are often indistinguishable from the original piece, making them a popular choice for artists and collectors.

I am working with a fine art printing company in Norway and am shipping the print from my studio in Ålesund.

I will only print 20 of these and they come with a certificate of authenticity.
